If I could understand myself enough, heal enough, learn enough, eventually everything would click.
So I did all the work. Therapy, journaled a ton, read all the books. I unpacked my childhood from top to bottom, learned my triggers and understood exactly why I felt the way I did. But when life got hard, I still found myself repeating the same patterns.
I knew myself.
The problem was I couldn’t access that version of myself in the moments that mattered most. When I was hurt, I still abandoned myself. When I was afraid, I still looked outside of myself for answers. When I was triggered, I still reacted in ways that didn’t reflect who I actually wanted to be.
That’s when everything changed, because that’s when I realized something that would ultimately become the foundation of DEVOH…
Awareness is important, but awareness alone will not change your life.
The moments that shape it all aren’t when we’re reflecting on our patterns. They’re the moments we’re actually living them. The moment you’re about to send the text. The moment you question yourself. The moment you’re hurt, overwhelmed or afraid. That’s where real change happens.
In 2017, I founded Your Inner Babe to help women come home to themselves. Over time though, I realized that coming home to yourself isn’t a destination, it’s a practice. It’s a conscious choice you make again and again in the moments that matter most.
Over the last decade, I’ve had the privilege of supporting more than 5,000 women through programs, retreats, workshops and a growing community. Women who don’t need more information, because they already know far more than they give themselves credit for.
What they’re missing isn’t awareness, it’s the ability to trust themselves when it actually counts.
DEVOH exists because I don’t believe you need another person telling you who to become. I believe everything you need is already within you. My work is simply to help you remember it, and choose it, again and again, in the moments that matter most.
Through The Shift™ you’ll learn how to notice the patterns pulling you away from yourself, interrupt automatic reactions and choose a response that reflects who you truly are. Not someday, but right here, right now, in the middle of your actual life.
I promise you, the version of you or your life that you’re searching for doesn’t happen when you become someone new. It happens when you stop abandoning yourself and start choosing yourself, one moment at a time.
